How to Install Dashy for FluentCart
Dashy for FluentCart is a free WordPress plugin that lets you add custom tabs to your FluentCart customer account dashboard without writing any code.
Using a simple interface inside WordPress, you can create additional dashboard tabs that display shortcodes, pages, posts, and custom post types.
Requirements
Before installing Dashy for FluentCart, you’ll need:
- A working WordPress website.
- FluentCart installed and activated.
- The Dashy for FluentCart plugin ZIP file.
Dashy for FluentCart uses FluentCart’s native dashboard tab API, so it works directly with FluentCart’s existing customer account dashboard.
Installing the Plugin
- Download the latest Dashy for FluentCart plugin ZIP file from its official download source.
- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Navigate to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
- Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
- Select the ZIP file you downloaded.
- Click Install Now.
- Once installation finishes, click Activate Plugin.
That’s it! Dashy for FluentCart is now installed.
Finding the Dashy Settings
After activation:
- Open your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Navigate to FluentCart → Dashy.
- You’ll see the interface for creating and managing your custom customer dashboard tabs.
From here, you can add tabs, choose icons, select what content they display, and control where they appear in the customer account navigation.
Do I Need to Write Any Code?
No. Dashy for FluentCart is designed to provide a graphical interface for FluentCart’s native dashboard tab API.
You don’t need to write PHP or interact with the API directly.
If you want to display a shortcode from another plugin, you’ll simply need that plugin’s shortcode.
Does Dashy for FluentCart Work with FluentCart Pro?
Dashy for FluentCart uses FluentCart’s native customer dashboard functionality rather than relying on a separate custom dashboard system.
The features described in this guide do not require a Dashy licence or paid subscription.
